People want to be right and will go to insane lenths to prove it.
Many people are intolerant and hypocritical of others views.

What you interpret as "hatred" I see as spirited debate. Only a complete and utter fool imagines he already knows everything he'll even need to know. The only source of fresh new ideas is our fellow human beings. There is no subject as contentious and aggravating as religion and spirituality, and the fact that so many participate demonstrates that many people feel the discussions are somehow worthwhile.
Allow me to remind you that we live in a country where all are welcome to express their opinion. I happen to think that all religion is little more than glorified superstition and it is my Constitutionally protected right to say so. You have the absolute right to disagree. If what I've said makes you angry, that's your problem and it clearly demonstrates your own emotional immaturity. Any fool can get along as part of a group who all share the same values. The real test of a man's worth is how he gets along with those with whom he seriously disagrees.
Edit: Well done, "Where da gold at?" You've said it clearly and cleanly and I totally agree. Good job!

LOL. You ever try having an informative and constructive discussion with someone about something completely imaginary, but they think is real and is watching over ever single move I make? Its impossible...
Its not hatred. Its perceived as hatred. You ask a question, and they all whine about being persecuted and attacked. Hey - if you gonna try to legislate your beliefs into my laws, you better be able to answer a few measly questions without getting all shook up over it. If you cant - then that pretty much proves the religion is bogus and protecting itself.

Probably because there is so much hatred in the world.
The reality is, no one really cares about learning what other people believe or why; most people just want to attack people who are different.
This is the real world. Sorry that it has to be like that.
