We are expecting a third child in a few weeks and need a larger vehicle... the dealership we are working with is suggesting the pathfinder, however, even with the third row seat it seems like you'd be cramped with three kids in there...all in car seats. Anyone have this vehicle? How well do you think three car seats would fit? Thanks :)

if you put one in the third row it should be fine. my father has an explorer with the third seat when we all get together my sister and i sit in the middle row and put my kids in their car seats in the third row. all though you may want to check the safety of the third row seat in the event of a crash where you get hit in the rear. usually the third rows sit right against the 'tailgate'. i would just do as much research as possible online. the dealer will always tell you it's very safe even if it isn't cause they want the sale. if anything take all three car seats to the dealership and see how they fit in there. best of luck on your new addition and your new car purchase!

Might be a bit cramped fitting all three car seats in the one row - we have a 6 month old and a three year old, and someone can fit to sit between them but it's a squeeze. I rate the Pathfinders pretty highly - no complaints yet. If you go with the third row option, seating won't be a problem but storage space will - how much shopping/prams/etc would you fit? Does it include roof-racks to make up for some of the lost space? No matter what car you are thinking of going with, take the car seats in and put them in it - you won't know for sure until you do.
