@ It is not correct to say that I am a Christian. Recently, I went to one Christian Church service and purchased a bible. So, I am curious about Christianity. However, my parents are both agnostic and I am undecided.

I post because I like to answer questions about religion and spirituality. I have spent a lot of time learning about a number of different religions and their history. I am also interested in spirituality in the sense of having an 'awe' of the world around us.

If they are atheists, who feel they are not accountable to a higher being, I would think they would have better things to do, I would think that they would have all kinds of money since conscience would not keep them from making it by any means (as long as they don't get caught by the police), and I would think that they would be sunning them selves on the Riviera with all that money and clean conscience. Instead, they insist on bugging people that actually enjoy sharing spiritual information. They just want attention because they don't believe in a God of love, so no one cares about them. probably not even their parents, if they know who they are!

I think most people on Yahoo Answers do a mix of two things, regardless of the group:
1. proselytize
2. make fun of answers or questions
3. give honest answers
You will find a mix of all three on every anonymous forum in the world. Do not think religion makes someone immune to the pattern.

Because all they feel is anger. They enjoy ridiculing others. It makes them feel superior. They think they are the elite. When they are caught in a lie--it's you religious people who are the liars. When they do immoral things--it's the religious people who are immoral. Whenever they do something wrong--it's the fault of religion. Many say if God exists let him prove it. In essence they are saying that he who created the universe, the galaxies, the solar systems, stars, planets moons, and everything in them; not to mention all life; should come down to them and say, "here I am, I'm real" See how self-centered they are? Have you ever seen one of them that doesn't boil over with antagonism and anger when others around them discuss a power greater than themselves? The main problem is that the Atheists think there is nothing greater than themselves.

Because some of us are interested in talking about god and religion, you don't have to believe to be interested in the subject. And some of us want to express our opinions and make people see the world from our perspective. I personally don't make fun of anyone...but I can only speak for myself.

This is Yahoo!Answers. The idea is to post questions, and get answers. Atheists are typically the people here who give the correct answers to the questions asked.
If you don't like the system, go somewhere else. Or better yet, explain why Christians have such a hard time accepting the rules here? I can't believe how many Christians come here just to lie about people with different beliefs.

Actually they search for God the GOOD ,the TRUTH.
They search Him among Christians ,but God is missing in them. Christians with all ( un-given up ) vices can not reflect God to them and enable them see Him .Hence they continue their search through yahoo answers.
"For every one who asks receives ;
he who seeks finds;
and to him who knocks ,
the door will be opened.
( Matthew 7:8 )
Let us just encourage them.
I welcome them with their questions.
I love them.
Once they find Him ,they will stop their attempt.
Defintely they will see him if they have eyes at all.
They will never see Him if they are just blind.
People laughed at Noah when he built the Ark.
But when the Flood came ,it wiped them off.
They will understand things when they are thrown in to Hell .

Because, Atheism pertainst to a belief (or non belief in this case) of God(s). They have their opinions and sources too.
