Yea do u live in england if so its cos ur taxed every angle at least three times! my uncle gets taxed on his pension and his job so it works out that he earns £1.20 an hour!! He also has to work nights and the weekends how the hell can someone live like that! I'm so leaving this country i know some places are worse but i can't afford to buy a house or anything over here and the taxes will just get worse and more.
I really feel for you, you need to seek some professional advice on money management. (don't borrow on credit cards)

LOng term look for a better paying job - but even if you get that, no matter how well paid you are you need to live within your means. SOrry if that sounds really boring and old fashioned - but you need to concentrate on your priority costs ie housing (rent, mortgage) - if you have children and have to pay maintenance - this can be unfair, and if you are a dad, you can apply to have the amount you pay reviewed if you are not in permanent employment - sorry if this doesn't apply but have to cover all bases) - cut down unnecessary expense eg thinking you have to have designer stuff - food and clothes are actually very cheap these days and you can get stylish stuff without breaking the bank. Do you spend alot on going out with your mates? repayments on a car? sky tv or games consoles? sounds boring, but if you cut out say a sky sports subscription for a few months (and watch important games in the pub wiht your pals instead) you will soon notice the difference. Also compare utility, mobile bills etc on a comparison site such as uswitch. gOOD LUCK!

1-Set your priority
2- Cut down the un-necessity like Internet, cable, cell phone, entertainment, eating out etc..
3- Stop buy things that you don't need. Buy used stuff in good condition instead of buying everything brand new.
4- Direct deposit certain amount of money each pay check into your saving account.
5- Locate to an area that has cheap rent.
6- Get another job that pays better
7- You don't have to work hard, work smart.
It's all about discipline and set priority. You can do it.

I think everyone has this same problem, even those who earn hundreds more than us a month - the more you earn the more you spend - it's a fact of life! You just need to cut down and try to save, it's the only way!

Hiya,
Use a direct debit to make monthly payments into a saving account, you won't notice it coming out of your account (like another bill) but you'll have something to show for it when you check 12 months later.

Its called leaving within your means, my mom engrained in my head that I need to always make enough to save at least two hundred a month. that meant less patying, less going out to eat and less dating at that time. there are things in your life that you can do without find those things and do with out them for a month and see what you save. Good Luck
