guys I have just recieved an email ... and due to some personal things said in it , it seems to be a genuine one
please advice
Message: this is the real Susan J, Pangel I don't what has been going on but I have been away for the week and I asked my neighbour to feed the dog and fish, and told her if she wanted to use the computer she could, I have known her for 2 years and I trusted her, she accessed YA as she knows I visit here a lot and silly me I have a book with all my passwords to YA and the banking, not knowing she would read it. on the computer table, I know she has told a lot of lies that I am dead but I am not, I have been upset all day and embarrassed that she could do that and opening a account in Chris's name he is furious, she not only told lies but she accessed my account and took $500 out of, transferred it to her account, she is being charged for fraud and defamation of character
Pangel it is me, I helped you when your hubby was in hospital and emailed you

Hi Pangel, this would be very good news, but being the sceptic that I am, i am in a wait and see mode.
and yes she did know about your husband being in the hospital, but then a lot of us knew that, some of us even know why.
I received and email the last night that Susan J was on here.
and she would know what that was.

Wow. I can't believe it. I just don't know where to start.
First thing is first. The real Susan J has to call the police, file a report, notify the credit companies, bank etc. most of the people above me have given the same advice....
second thing she is the real susan also should report the fake to yahoo and get the account that has been violated suspended. she should also close down that email address if possible.....
this whole thing is creepy.... I am sorry for the whole mess.....

Honestly? I think it's just a little too out there. A book with passwords? Come on. How many of you keep passwords in a book?
Maybe there were "passwords in a book" and an id theft and money taken from a bank, but the whole thing sounds bizarre. Whoever the "real" Susan J ever was...I can't help but be skeptical about the id theft. It sounds to me as though we're dealing with a very sad person who needs some kind of validation or something but I'm tired of them getting it from gullible people on Answers.

Susan,
That you overcame your embarassment and are speaking out is a point in your favor, but all is not forgiven until you get access to the account your friend changed the password to. You see, she can and will access that account from anywhere and continue to damage you and steal from you. That you feel raped should be an understatement. Many people treat the computer like its a toy easily shared, but you now know differently and thankfully, so do others here.

Well, I for one am glad the real Susan J is back, I'm sorry she has such a sucky friend, and very glad she had the woman arrested - she deserves no less.
Susan, tell Yahoo what happened so they delete that account, and don't forget to change all your passwords on everything, and change your credit cards too. Don't forget to have your pins changed- maybe even get new bank cards.
Sorry this happened to you - keep your chin up.

If she accessed her account she could have got in her email and if she hadn't got rid of stuff she could have done just about anything. Susan J. was a devout Catholic so maybe ask her some serious Catholic questions about Mary or the Holy Eucharist but don't call it that, ask her what she calls the Communion wafer at Church ( The Eucharist or The Host too but, more formally known as the Holy Eucharist)? Ask about the number of sacraments (7) or any number of Catholic questions

Sorry, but that sucks. She's got alot of work ahead of her. First, cancel all her credit cards. Notify the main credit agencies to place a hold on her social security number. Notify her bank. Close the account she stole from, and begin the process (it takes about 3 months) of getting her Social security number changed. Get her a new drivers liscense with a new number. Call a lawyer, and an accountant. Go to equifax or transUnion, and get an account to monitor her credit (costs about 8 bucks a month). Cancel any and all other credit cards she has.
It may not seem like this is necessary, but when they have your credit card, when they have your account info, they have your entire life. One number leads to the next, and these things get sold on the internet. She's got a long road ahead of her, and she can't let her guard down or think she's safe.

Hmmm the online drama continues. This is why one should take all "news" posted about a person on a forum with a grain of salt. You never know when someone is going to pull a prank like that. Not very nice, I concur.
I am happy though, if Susan J is really still alive.

This is reprehensible. I feel so sorry that Susan on top of everything else she has been through has had to deal with such a shocking and upsetting homecoming. That being said I am so happy that she is still with us. This person (her neighbour)is in desperate need of help and I hope that she gets it. Susan, if your reading this here is a huge hug.

I don't know whether to be thrilled that SusanJ is still with us. . .or furious at the neighbor who could do such a cruel thing to her and to us.
I think I'll just be thankful and happy that Susan is still around. The neighbor will have to answer to God and the law for the hurt she caused to Susan, Chris, and everybody here that loves them.
