Okay so I'm in 8th grade..And right now teachers put so much presure on you telling you that you should already know what you want to be when you grow up..And I'll tell you the truth I have no Idea..I have this hobby i love to dance and people say I'm good at it..So after I graduate I want to go to art school and get better at what i love to do..But thats not a carer I want a nice job..I want to find my dream job..so every time teachers ask what do you want to be whaen you grow up I would have an answer beside "i dont know".

So my question is can you list some good jobs and what you have to do there and how much they pay..???

I'm thinking something like a childrens dentist or a lawyer or a business women..

The jobs you've listed are good ones but I thought you want to dance. That can be a "real career". There are dancers on Broadway, in the movies, shows in Las Vegas, the ballet. They have made dancing their career, why can't you? People have said you're good at it, right? The point I'm trying to make is that what you choose in life should be something you love to do. If you love your work then your life will be much happier and rewarding. How much money or prestige shouldn't be the most important things. Doing what you love in life is. I'm 47 and have been an accountant for most of my adult life. I make pretty good money but if I had it to do all over again I would do what I love not what I could make the most money at. Don't make the same mistake I did, please!! Find out what you love and go after it and don't let anyone get in your way or try and discourage you. Good luck.

You should just say you haven't decided yet. You are still exploring opportunities. If you feel you have to have an answer say that you plan to be a professional dancer.

Don't worry about what you are going to do, you have plenty of time for that. Keep exploring the things that you find interesting and then if you are fortunate you will develop a passion for something and can pursue that. Heck, most adults don't know what they want to do, they just fell into something and stayed with it. It is a very rare person who knows early on what they are going to do and then really does it.

Good Luck.

Evan if you had an idea now, with experience and age that can and will change, as different opportunities present themselves. Been in dead end jobs, the military, advertising, sales, manufacturing both Union side and now company, and still looking for something else. Life is a journey, not a destination for some.

Don't worry about it, if you go to college most people change their majors within the first couple of years anyway. Worry about getting out of school first, the rest will come to you in time.

I go to college and get a degree being a lawyer or business accountant. You want something thats going to help your assets when you get older.

I suggest you enrol yourself to qualify as a Dentist. You will make a lot of money by making people toothless.
