For starters, watch how much salt you PUT on your food. If you find your a salt feen, you can replace salf with a salt substitute, which isn't exactly the same, but will give you the same taste without all the sodium.

Processed foods and fast foods have A LOT of sodium. The salt helps to keep the food tasting good despite it being frozen for god knows how long!

French Fries, in particular, have a lot of sodium, since you can even taste the salt - like McDonalds fries for instance - theres a certain amount of salt already there as a preservative, but they make it salty to taste on top of that!!

Unfortunately, grilled chicken thats processed also has a lot of sodium, so make sure you check out your nutritional values before you grab a bite to eat.

The easiest way to do this is stop adding salt to your food (once prepared) if you are doing so, or add less, and start cooking more at home. You'll find you'll need a lot less salt to make the food taste yummy! Hope this helped! GL!

Fast Foods are Chronically high in Sodium- if you can put the salt shaker away- & cut down on the fast foods, chips & sports drinks, you should be fine. Try it out for a couple of weeks- & see i you notice any difference. Good luck!

Try to avoid packaged foods like chips and crackers, butter, fast food, and stuff like that. They have a lot of sodium. Also, DON'T add salt to food. BAD.

Good luck!

Well, cooking your own food is a great way to control what you're eating. You can make it very healthy without adding lots of sugar and salt, etc. When you eat out / buy processed foods etc it tends to have more salt in it than you would like. Egg yolks are also something to stay away from / eat in moderation.

Soft Drinks, Any manufactured product pretty much. Try an alternative seasoning that doesn't have sodium. Sorry, but you're going to have to read some labels.

First and foremost - stop adding salt as a seasoning to anything you eat. Almost all processed foods (pretzels, potato chips, canned soup, canned vegetables, bread, cookies, ice cream, etc.) are high in salt content - avoid them. Instead consume fresh meats, fruits and veggies.
