if this girl you are dating-- not officially you're girlfriend.. because you will be leaving in less than a month and probably never see her again... if she got you a big extensive present for your Birthday/Leaving... then would you get overwhelmed and think it was overboard.. would it freak you out if you got freaked out easily by like "love" and "committment" things. And maybe it wouldn't necessarily be expensive due to it being One expensive huge thing.. but a Ton of little things that add up or something... like a bunch of things that represent her memories of how she will remember you and such... is that okay? or do you have any other good ideas???

i would blow a bunch of money on him to do whatever i could for him... just simply because that's how i am.... i get these creative thoughtful thoughts about what i want to do for someone i Really care about.. and i want to do them, no matter the cost, because i want to make things Memorable for THEM.

I've biffed it more than once with this. They squirm when you do that (both the big gift and the many little gifts).

They're comfortable with you paying for lavish outting; jet skiing, rock climbing, atv-wheeling, sky diving, or anything that the two of you can do together.

Nope.............. it wouldn't freak me out, but why would you want to blow a bunch of money on someone who you aren't going to get to see again?
