What makes you want to do a better job on time and efficiently? For some, it's to please their boss. Others do it because they take pride and satisfaction from a job well done. Some people are extremely competitive, while others simply enjoy their job (believe it or not). And then there are those the prospective employer would like to weed out of the candidate pool by asking questions like this one... those who need a cattle prod and constant nagging to get minor details done.

I would answer the question by saying a challenge motivates me. It is true and any potential employer should see the benefits of an employee motivated by challenges!

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU
Your answer should be tailored to the organisation you're applying for. Be specific. Don't generalise about:
-Wanting to reach standards of excellence in my work, for e.g.
Tailor the answer to the question
-Wanting to reach excellent standards of administration/customer service in the work that I do so that I can really benefit the [organisation] and be valued as a member of the team.
