I am motivated by challenging work and learning new skills and information. I am also motivated by an environment that is encouraging and supportive.

What makes you want to do a better job on time and efficiently? For some, it's to please their boss. Others do it because they take pride and satisfaction from a job well done. Some people are extremely competitive, while others simply enjoy their job (believe it or not). And then there are those the prospective employer would like to weed out of the candidate pool by asking questions like this one... those who need a cattle prod and constant nagging to get minor details done.

I would answer the question by saying a challenge motivates me. It is true and any potential employer should see the benefits of an employee motivated by challenges!

Working with other people to achieve specific goals (targets)
and being able to celebrate team success.
Having the opportunity to maximise my potential , though on job coaching and additional training where available .
Working in an environment that encourages maximum input from all , which will give job satisfaction .
