if it's not appropriate, what would be appropriate to wear to an evening wedding in the summer that is indoors?

I think its a gorgeous dress...I would get a shawl or light sweater or something maybe to put around your shoulders if you get cold, but ya, no, it looks really cute! You want to dress up a bit, but not outdress the bridal party, so I think this is a good choice

Considering your age I think it would be ok. Since the wedding is in the evening I would suggest a wrap or shawl to make it look a bit dressier. ONce at the reception I am sure you won't be the only one in the style of dress.
Recently my friend was married and there were a handful of younger girls (teenagers) in a siimilar style dress. It was also an evenign wedding so I think it would be fine.
Just don't do what my cousin did, she couldn't find anything to wear and came to my wedding in sweatpants (I love her and was glad she was there, but come on!)
Have fun!

Actually, evening weddings are traditionally formal events and that dress may not be appropriate. Don't get me wrong, I think it's absolutely adorable! Just inappropriate for the event. You obviously have good taste in clothes so I'm sure you won't have any problems with finding another dress! Good luck!
EDIT: Just find something more formal. Nothing too prom-y. Go with something like a cute cocktail dress. Try a department store like Macy's or Dillard's. You'll be sure to find one there!

I may be the minority here but I don't know if it's appropriate for an evening wedding. It looks a little short too. Now if you were going out to dinner with friends or something like that, I think it would be just fine. It's an adorable dress though!

That is a very nice dress for someone your age to wear to a wedding. Black heels and an updo would make the outfit complete!!

I think you could wear anything you want as long as it's not white. I mean it is summer, and the dress isn't that revealing. Maybe wear a wrap or shawl over your shoulders, but I think that would be fine.

I dont think so, its awfully informal. Honestly, it looks like something young girls would wear over your bathing suit to the beach. Especially to a night wedding, you need to be a bit more formally dressed than that.

I think it will work. It's flirty and it looks nice at the same time. If you still feel nervous about it, just wear some sort of scarf or small coat over it.

That is very cute!
As long as it isn't too revealing on you, I think it's a great choice. Get some cute strappy sandals (heels) and you're set!
