Water is the best thing for keeping well-hydrated. Fruits help too because they contain water and minerals. You'll need protein too even though I wouldn't say it is a hydrating food. Protein is easy to get in poached eggs, boiled in-the-shell eggs, peanut butter, beans (fully-ripened--not green or yellow string beans), split peas, fish, chicken, and even vegetables and whole grains have a small amount of protein.
If the camp doesn't allow you to drink enough water, I wouldn't go. You need water or you'll get heat exhaustion or heatstroke.
Good Luck and God's Blessings

Fruit is full of water and good carbs that give you energy. Melons, grapes, bananas, kewi, oranges and apples. Substitute these instead of chips which seem to sit on your stomach and make you sleepy. Drink lots of water or the low calorie poweraid while you do any exersise to keep you hydrated while you sweat. As far as your mom goes, don't tell here why you want to eat better just ask here to pick things that are healthy and say you had some at your friends house and you like them.

Everything and anything that you want!!! Only in moderation. Alittle this alittle that. Get my point. This is best. With out this plan your body will be out of balance. I would think that you would want to do your best at your cheerleading training. I also reccomend alittle sugared food right before training to get some energy then something healthy afterwards. Good Luck

1) Fresh fruits and veggies=hydrating foods. Fruits and veggies are made predominantly of water, so in addition to filling you up with few calories, you're meeting your daily quota for liquid intake as well as many vitamins.
2) Foods for energy=foods high in protein (for satiety) and complex carbohydrates (for glycogen energy your muscles need to do aerobis activity.) Add more almonds, whole-grain bread and oatmeal, lowfat dairy (cottage cheese is great for protein) and low-carb protein bars in the mix.
