I live in Ohio. I'm considering Tennessee or Kentucky but I'd also like to find a good, safe area as well. I don't want to move thousands of miles away either. Plus i'm single, no girlfriend. Where would be a good state or city (preferrably in Kentucky or TN) that I could start my life after college and eventually meet someone? Also, if you mention the city, can you tell me the good areas to live around it? Thanks

New York or Chicago. I know you don't want to move too far away but you have the best chance of making a really good go of things there.

Raleigh, NC was just voted the best city for singles to find a special. I've lived here all my life and I've never felt threatened. Check us out on the web and do a little research. Our downtown area is undergoing a huge expansion and with it a whole new nightlife scene has come up. We've also got the Carolina Hurricanes and the Panthers are a short 2 hour drive if you feel like you want to watch a football game. The people here are really friendly. Another good deal is if you live in Raleigh your three hours from the mountains and three hours from the beach. Plus we have a huge international airport that can get you anywhere!

I just moved to Miami this year from england. And the weather is awsome here!! I think it's pretty safe here tho there are many maniacs drivers here. South beach is pretty good for the single fellows. Go for it!! Tennessee??? Kentucky??? Isn't that where those hillbillys come from? he he

Colorado.

There's so much to do here! Rafting, hiking, tubing, biking, boating. It's great.

Move around Evergreen, Idaho Springs, or Genesee. These area's are close enough to the mountains to do fun things, but also close enough to the city to make it an easy commute to work.

tennessee is a great place..lots of tourist sites and beautiful mountains, or try virginia, they got more mountains than TN. Anywhere is fine except Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

i could desire to flow returned to Indiana reason I grew up there. I stay in Arkansas and that i don't like it. it is humid and there are literally hundreds of mosquitoes. the every person is friendly and that's a captivating state.

My opinion is biased, but I would recommend Chicago Illinois. I know it's not where you would like to go, but trust me, Chicago is cool. Anyplace on the north to northeast side is safe... and you would not need a car.

go to California, that is where i was born. it is awsome there! go to san diago, and live near the coronado beach. it is beautiful. and it is pretty safe. no hurricanes often or anything. there are skate parks, big malls, yummy fish tacos, wakeboarding and surfing, lots of places to go hiking or bike riding, and nice people. good community. trust me.
