NO.
Maybe I want to commit suicide. Maybe I want to take the scenic route. Once I tell you I know, then LEAVE ME ALONE.

Yes Bethybug. I would want you to tell me my house is on fire. Jesus also said compel them to come to my house. In other words pass out the invitations. Encourage the weak to give their heart to Christ. Don't be ashamed. Many will openly deny Christ, but a remnant will be saved.
Revelation 3:20.

Unlike some of the others here, I actually like your analogy. I would say that, as a Christian, you might only see one way out of the house.
I would argue that there are many different exits from the burning house, and not all of them are in the shape of a cross.
Thomas Jefferson said, "religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship." Along these lines, Matthew 6:6 emphasizes that one's spirituality should be a private personal matter.
I know you mean well, but when someone asks me if I've accepted Jesus, it's akin to asking me about my sex life - it's really none of their business.

What if you're jumping to conclusions and the fire you're compelling me to run away from is really a bonfire my friends and I setup in my back yard to roast marshmallows on? And the position of the fire made it seem like my house was on fire...... what then? Everyone would look at you like you were a fool yelling "COME WITH ME, YOUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE!!! I COMPEL YOU TO FOLLOW MY PATH FOR IT IS THE PATH TO SALVATION!".... they'd think you were a nutter....... much like most people think about christians who keep trying to "compel."

this could be one of the worst analogies in the history of analogies.
Answer this. If some nut is standing outside my house at 3 AM screaming that my house is on fire and my house is fine, can I call the police and insist that they compel him to leave the neighborhood??

If you COMPELLED me to listen to you tell me that my house was going to burn down 30 or 40 or more years from now, then I'd have you up on kidnapping and assault charges.
If you were the 50,000th person to try to inform me my house was going to catch fire in the future, I just find you tiresome.
Do you really think atheists have never heard that according to your Sky Bully we're going to burn forever?
If you cared, you'd leave me alone.
Why don't you pray for me?
Shut down your computer, and don't stop praying, all day and night, every day, until all people worship your Sky Bully.
Do us all a favor.

Boy, what a way to torture logic! No, you couldn't COMPEL me to do anything. You could let me know about the fire by shouting "fire" or you could call the fire department for me but you couldn't COMPEL me to come out...give me one good reason why I should listen to you about this? I'm sorry, but I don't know you and you seem rather immature to me, so why should I listen to you?

Well there is a huge difference between being a good humanitarian and warning someone of a fire and twisting their arm to accept your worldview.
When it comes to your beliefs which you would ~compel~ someone to listen to, if you really cared about the person you would not impose your beliefs on them and accept them ~as they are~.

actually you should compel someone to come out unless you want to be charged as an accessory to his or her death.
remember though, if you start telling people they are in danger of invisible fire, they will just think you are crazy.

This is a thinly veiled way of asking,"Why do you get upset when I tell you that you are going to Hell because you're immoral or you haven't accepted Jesus into your life?"
Am I right?
So to answer the real, "hidden" question:
You could mention your Jesus recruiting agenda and then as soon as it is rejected, you could just stop right there. You don't "care" by forcing it on someone and then demonizing them when they don't accept it.
