Yes you should be concerned about your cat. Please take it to the vet for proper treatment. Not all treatments work for the same type of worms. When we got our oldest cat she had 3 different types of worms and needed 3 different types of treatments, one which was an injection. Also, after your cat is treated you have to clean all it's bedding and clean out it's litter box and wash it with bleach. If you cat is a indoor cat, then this should resolve the problem. Good Luck.

Yes, it sounds like your cat needs worm medication. Dont settle for over the counter worm treatment at a local store. If your cat is suffering from worms quite often you should take it to a vet . I had a cat who we thought had worms but ended up actaully having maggots, which was extremely dangerous for our cat. Also if your cat does have worms it can easily be picked up by another animal you might have.

It depends on where they are. I just took a vet class and little white worms that look like rice near the anus is tape worm, and you have to bring your cat to a vet immediatly. i mean i dont know where the worms are but if you post it i might be able to help you a little bit more.
I hope that helps.

Yes you should be, constant gut parasites will lead to a very unhealthy animal!

All cats and dogs should be wormed regularly to PREVENT them getting worms. You need to go to your vet for some proper treatment - it will most likely be in the form of a tablet. Please don't use any cheapo store-bought products, you'd be wasting your time.
