Hypothetically speaking: If I bought some automatic weapons on the black market, drove to your child’s elementary school, went in and started shooting at every teacher and child in my sight, do you think God would intervene to save your child? I’m sure you have taught your child to pray. Do you think God would answer your child’s desperate pleas for help? What if I believed in some radical/cult form of Christianity and prayed to God for assistance in accomplishing my assault? Do you think that he would let me know that this was against his will? Or, do you think God would, as he has done in other situations like this, do nothing while the bodies piled up?

I'd go with bodies piling up - that's what the evidence says.

You have at best a simplistic view of a God you clearly don't understand. God's best gift on earth aside from salvation is the abililty to choose our own paths. People's poor choices sometimes affect other people. How cna god let you know something is "against His will" if you turn a deaf ear to God. He allows you to make whatever choice you will, He offers his advice and guidance, but if you don't seek it, you won't hear it. No one is promised freedom from tragedy, everyone is promised eternal life if they accept it. God never does "nothing". He is always at work, sadly there are too many like you who choose to ignore him.

God always answers prayers.

It's not always the way we would like to see them answered but there is an answer nonetheless.

there are no accidents in the universe- God or the Higher Power, creator, whatever you want to call it doesn't do "accidents." there is always a reason for even the most horrible of attrocities in the world.

Read the book of Job in the Old Testament.
that guy had some pretty awfull things happen to him in his life, but he never stopped trusting God.

yeah, but the answer might be no. All things work towards the good of those who love God. Everyone dies, it's the next world that matters.
