Yes, Yes and Yes. My cat regularly brings in half eaten geckos and lays them, in state, on the floor for her fav. human. I hate it but she loves me and that is all that really matters. Nothing like a squishy reptile with its guts spilling out all over the place to really give you a wake-up call.

Oh, yes. Many, many times over the years. To top it all off, I had a cat once who caught a mouse and put it in my shoe!

You'll soon learn to hear the 'urk urk' of a hairball in your sleep and be up and out of bed before you're actually awake, to get it off the floor.

Yes - a squishy hairball (thank heavens I don't have them often) is definitely gross on the bare foot!

Hairball or poop? If it's poop, the cat may be ill. Take it to a Vet please.
