im thinking about becoming a radiologist tec. what is the usual salary? i am in the charlotte, NC area if that makes a difference. If any of you have this job do you enjoy it? What are the ups and downs to this job?

The correct title is radiologic technologist (a radiologist is a doctor). The mean full-time hourly wage for a rad tech in North Carolina in 2004 was $20.76: http://www.asrt.org/content/rts/wagesalsurvey2004.aspx
Barium enemas, trauma patients, operating room cases, and morgue cases aren't great, but overall it's a good job.
