If you really love you cat you would get her spayed. It not only keeps them from reproducing, but it also prevents other things like vaginal infections and uterine cancer. Please have her spayed, it really is the best for her and you.

Not available yet. See below.
Too many side effects, unwanted problems and didn't work 100% of the time. Supposedly cancer causing too.... They've been looking for years, but still nothing.
You'd also have to look at the cost of a lifetime on birth control versus the one time sterilization costs and figure if it's worth it. Once something DOES come on the market it'll be high priced because the cost of research and development has to be covered by the initial years it's on the market--basic pricing that all medicines go through.
Once the cats are full grown, all hormones for body/bone/skin/muscle development have done their job and they can be safely neutered/spayed. A cat continually going in and out of heat is one who has an incredibly stressed body and is prone to cancers of the reproductive system. Males will take up spraying indoors and that's a habit that is often impossible to break.
Adding to the kitten population isn't ethical so you're limited with a few choices here--I hope you make the right one.

Surgery is MUCH better than birth control-- it IS acceptable and will help prevent- - Cancer, Tumors, and other problems (including stress) usually associated with Intact pets.
Chemical birth control in any living being carries HIGH risks. Do you want your cats to suffer??
PLEASE get your cats spayed or neutered.

They will be healthier and happier being spayed/neutered. Males and females will spray urine around the house to attract mates and to claim territory. So if you care about the cats and your house get them altered. 3 million cats/kittens are killed each and every year for lack of homes..there's no need to breed more. Get the surgery so you are 100% sure that won't happen.

to spay or neuter a cat does not mean they will not be whole or anything of that matter. by doing this, you are giving your cat a chance at a longer, healthier, happier life. many problems are decreased when they have this done. if you really want the best for your cat, then you should have your cat spayed/neutered.

Birth control is to control pregnancies until you are ready to get pregnant. Unless you plan to have your cat get pregnant in the future birth control is useless. Plus what if she doesn't eat it, throws it up, etc and gets pregnant. Are you ready to take care of litters?
People have surgery to avoid pregnancies. What is done to the cat is no worse than what is done on people. Get your cat spayed.

LMAOROTF!!! I have never heard of such a thing. Thats funny
Talk to a veterinarian or many. Better yet, do a google search on "health benifits on spaying cats"
When i read your question, the first thing that came to mind were those little white training pants for toddlers with a hole cut out for the tail. LMAOROTF!!!
Good luck ;)

no such animal. the only way to effectively prevent a cat from becoming pregnant is by spaying her.
Otherwise, learn to deal with them being in heat all the time, and locking them up. Which, by the way, is not good for them.

You need to just get your cat neutered. Seriously. They get put under, and it's only uncomfortable for a few days. That is the most humane thing to do.
