I've been reading answers on here about questions involving people 5'6, and about 130 pounds. They say its the perfect weight for a body that tall and everything, but I'm a size 8, and that is closer to plus size than anything else. Whats the deal here? I still feel like I need to get down lower if I'm a larger size than everyone else my height and weight!

you don't need to lose weight, you need to tone up. I'll wager that if you don't like your shape, you have more fat than muscle even if your weight is normal. So, you need to get into a regular exercise routine to convert that fat to muscle. Don't watch your weight while you do this, rather measure your inches. Muscle weighs more than fat, but it is denser and you should tone up and lose inches.

Sizing depends upon the company making the clothes. My daughter is 5'7" and weighs 135. She wears a size 12. I think she has a nice figure. If she gets a different brand, she sometimes can wear a size 8. The expensive, name-brand clothes are in smaller size numbers to make you think you are slimmer. It is called vanity sizing.

If you have a curvy body or a large chest or hips, that can make clothes fit poorly (or cause you to need larger sizes.) If you are healthy, you shouldn't worry about what size clothes you're wearing. Properly fitted clothes will emphasize your features and flatter your figure.

Hey now don't be getting your self about what people think about your weight. If your comfortable in your own skin then that's all that matters. If your not and you think your overweight go tone up. By no means are you overweight though. Hope I helped :)

Not everyone has the same bone structure. Maybe you have wide hips. Can't change that, no matter how many pounds you lose. It's not bad or anything.

you are still pretty tiny!!! don't worry about it. you can't really listen to what you are "supposed" to be because we all have different body types! don't let other people make you feel like you are fat... if YOU truly think you are, then cut your calorie intake a little and start exercising!
