Depends what you eat, and a higher fiber diet intends to increase your bowel movements. But once a day is a healthy average, less then that then you might not being eating alot or not exactly eating as healthy as you should.

The doctors say once in 3 days is normal but if you got good bowel movement it would be 3 times a day.
I know my dad had colon cancer, they told me the normals and ask me questions about how often I go number two. I don't have good bowel movement so I have to go in once a year and get my colon checked.

Everywhere from 2-3 times a day to 2-3 times a week is normal. Everyone has their own normal bowel movement routine.

it is pretty individual, some go daily, some every other day and some every third day. NO ONE should go with out a BM for more than four days.

My doc told me you should have at least one a day, preferrably more. I'm at 3. You really should eat more fiber.

it's different for everybody. as long as you are eating enough fiber and are not chronically constipated you are OK.
