Well, seeing how you are obviously a troll...can't you think of it as not religion Vs. science...but religion with science? Why can't they work together?
Who is to say God didn't have scientists work so that we can know how He does stuff? How he makes us stay on the eart, how he formed the universe, how He made man?

We know air exists because we know gas is there; for example, oxygen.
We can't see it, but tests have been run in laboratories to prove the oxygen is the only gas that supports burning, so if we can light fires, we know oxygen is there.
