It depends.
If a guy likes to smoke a little ganj about 1-2 times a month - I have no problem with it. Several times a week, and I would have a problem, but would be willing to negotiate as long as that was not the focus of their lifestyle, and they still were motivated people, and not lazy potheads.
If it is hard drugs, ever, absolutely not. I don't date people who do that - it distracts them from their lives and priorities.

Most girls would find it unattractive. But, if you find a girl who is like you, who can do it for recreational purposes only, then you two would be pretty suited for one another. There ARE some people out there who can take drugs or leave them. They just do them to have a good time every now and again. It doesn't necessarily make it right, or legal, but to each his own. I guess it just depends on where you stand when it comes to drugs.

Personally, it doesn't matter what a guy looks like or if he is smart, witty, intelligent, athletic, sexy, anything... all that is gone once I find out he's a drug user. And also, adding recreational in front of "drug user" doesn't make it better. He's still a drug user. Just my thoughts.

Some girls may be ok with it, but myself personally it is a huge turn off. I will not date a guy who does drugs or drinks to excess all the time. Drinking occasionally is fine, but drugs of any kind at any time are not acceptable in my book. It would fall in reference with any other poor traits in a man, such as abuse, cheating, lying, disloyal, controlling, smoker, etc.

Its a major turn off. What is your reasons behind your drug use? I was reading your info about yourself and if it has something to do with your music scene. I just want to go on the record saying that generally the living musicians believe that the 60s achieved alot. And they were right about certain movements but drug use was not one of them. They lost alot of greats janis joplin, gram parsons, jimi hendrix, jim morrison, keith Moon, john bonham, brian jones to drug abuse etc. I think its a shame that you could be following in their footsteps when you could do so much more. I don't think it was a mistake psychedelic art and music, it was something wonderful and the music created changed my life, but we must learn from history. Just a thought :)

If a guy has ANYTHING to do with drugs, he's out of the picture. I don't care if he's nice or hot. Now, if he quits, that's a little bit different.
