It's not you Bethybug. It's the Christ in you and through you appealing to the hearts of those who are trapped in false logic. We must pray for them. Some will eventually break away from their prison of darkness and walk in the the glorious light of truth. The seed that you are planting today by the Holy Spirit may come to life 10 years from now. Not all flowers bloom at the same time. Have faith. Harvest time is coming.

John 3:16.

BTW, I am almost 58 yrs Old & over 37 yrs in the Lord, Now let's take a pole, I guranntee you that you my have 1 or 2 % order than me & serving God longer than me. Therefore I know What I am talking about..-----------May I also add, Atheists don' think they are sinners, You have to believe in a God to believe you are a sinner.

I believe in God and I follow the teachings of Jesus. I, however, am a bit distant from most fundameental christians in many ways. With that said, I have also been a satanist before I decided to follow Jesus. I have studied and spent countless hours debating with others and myself on the God issue. I came to the conclusion that I personally can't accept there is no God, because I am compelled to believe, only because I feel like it is true in my heart. Now that is my beliefs and yes I think others should give God a chance but I'm not going to argue that God can proved rationally or with reason and I'm not trying to convert atheists. I have lived both sides of the argument and I find my life more happy and fulfilling now that I follow Jesus. I am not restricted from doing the things I enjoy. I live my life. I have many friends who are athiests and satanists and what they believe is their business. I just ask that we quit condemning one another and arguing over who is right, because both sides think the other is wrong and that their position is stupid. We need to embrace our differences and quit fighting with each other and let he who believes one way believe that way. People will form their own conclusions and that is their choice and they will live with that choice. Let it be.

Though us Christians sin, we have the sacrifice to take it away, as long as we repent.

We try to win atheists because they don't have that sacrifice.
But when we try to win them to Christ, it will do NO GOOD pointing out their sins, because they didn't have laws to live by in the first place, since they don't believe in God. For Example; Homosexuality.

We are all sinners. There's no need to pick on the atheists about it, because they're just normal people. They're not afraid to be themselves. It's impossible not to sin. It's impossible to go by all 10 commandments. Literally. We're all going to sin, that's just reality.

Trying to reach the heart of a non believer is not pointing fingers in judgment. thats what the devil tells ppl. absolutely not. We all have sinner and fallen short of the glory of God. BUt, God calls us to leave that once we are His and to live like Jesus and be free of sin, and if we will love HIm enough to rest in HIm and obey Him, He will show us jsut us to do it And, our previous sins have been forgiven. WE want this for all ppl. So yes, we talk to the non believers and tell them what Jesus has done for us, and we pray they will receive Holy Spirit conviction and find truth of God for themselves, and have their sins forgive and to be then leading a life for God, free of sin. IT can be done, its the devil that says we cant. GOd would not command us to do this if it were impossible. Not hardly. BUt, God tells us how we do it. when we are in Christ, and we obey Him, He will bless us and show us more. WE will see that in His authority and power, we can overcome sin, thru the power of His shed blood on the cross. Only the devil will tell us we cant do it. God says we can, so I guess its who we choose to believe and hear and obey. WHen we obey Jesus, we will be like Him, when we dont, we wont be like Him at all and we will be lost. and I tell you what, I am glad ppl reached out to me when I didnt know. I can never say thank you enough to them all, and along the way there were many, but two real close friends really led me to God by how they lived it and spoke it. showing me it could be done. amen

All that can be done is to plant seeds.

You can speak and make an effort, but if they still resist, I leave them alone. Jesus says this too.....where He walks into a town, and if they didn't want to hear His message, He says to shake the sand off your sandals as you leave.

I don't give two hoots about saving those people. I will make my case, speak my mind, hope it sinks in, but if not, oh well. It's a shame and it's sad, but I won't lose any sleep over their problems and future.

Athiests beleive there is no God. It is easier to convert the people who already beleive in a god but not the right one. Athiests are the hardest to convert. So that is why we are compelled to convert them.

It's not winning over athiests, it's trying to convert people to Christ like it or not. Sure we are all sinners but that doesn't mean we cant help others.

Because we don't want you all to go to hell.

Yes that is true, we all are sinners and our righteousness is like filthy rags to God. He is a holy God.

That is why we asked Jesus into our heart to wash away all the fithiness and to die to sins, we are to live a Christ like life.

Many "believers" are decieved thinking that they are good with God and live a sinful existance thinking they got a sure ticket to heaven. WRONG!
