It's not really late (unless you're a gremlin), the issue is that you shouldn't eat within 3 hours of going to bed as you wont burn off that extra food, it also can cause you to get sick from the acid build up.

Nope the myth that you can't eat a little before you sleep is untrue. If your body requires 2000 calories for that day and you eat the last 500 calories after 10PM or something that doesn't mean it's going to turn into fat. Remember sleeping is basically just an extended fast for your body, also your anabolic growth hormone is at its peak when you rest so having some extra nutrients it helps promote muscle growth if your looking for that.

Yes! You shouldn't eat within a couple hours before going to bed. But as life is busy sometimes we don't always have the opportunity to do what is best for our body. When you do have to eat late, make if a very light dinner.

Eating late isn't the problem if thats what your body is used to. But there should be an interval of about 3 hours before you go to bed. So the stomach acid reduces to is normal rest amount and doesn't cause any problems with your upper digestive system.

It doesnt matter what time of the day you eat - as long as you dont consume more calories a day than you spend you are not gona gain weight. If you are hungry - eat.
Only old school dietitians/nutritionists who dont follow researches preach not eating after certain time.

you ought to on no account devour previous 8 or around that factor. it is because of fact your metabolism slows around this time and that's extra durable for you to burn of each and every of the energy and sugar. Then the sugar truly will turn to fat. My mom comprehend all approximately a number of those well-being subject concerns, and would not commonly enable me devour previous 8 except i take a run on our tredmill after to burn of each and every of the energy and sugar. So, ingesting after 8 truly is undesirable to your physique. i wish I helped!!

You want to stop eating at least 3 hours before you go to bed otherwise your body cannot digest it before you sleep. When you sleep you are burning the least amount of calories for the day and your metabolism will naturally decrease so it is easier for your body to store that food as fat.

it won't kill you but if you are trying to lose weight it's the worst thing you can do. Because you go to bed and everything you ate is automatically stored as fat. But otherwise no that's an old wives tale.
