I'm interested to start a non medical home care business. I've googled about it and some companies offer franchising. Is it good or starting from scratch is better?

Franchises are typically better than going it on your own because the franchisor has worked out a systemized approach to the business and can teach you that so you don't make too many missteps in building your business. This ensures your success.

The trick is to find a reputable franchise, that is within your budget and meets your expectations for income generation. For instance, I have a franchise business that focuses on nutrition, cosmetics, personal care and web products and everything has been systemized for me and I can be assured of success within two to three years.

As a startup, and without franchising, expect your business to take 5 years to reach the income levels you want. And you may still fail after 5 years. Franchises will typically shorten the time to reach your expected income levels and it ensures success.
