im 17 and last year i got sunburned bad and now i just noticed this red spot its really small about the size of an ant bite im not sure if its been there all my life or not never really paid attention to it until i learned about skin cancer also its on my chest and i never got sunburnt there i had my shirt on i just got sunburned on my face so if i did i have skin cancer it wouldnt show up on my chest would it?someone help this is worrying me way to much i know i should go to the doc but i told my parents and they think its nothing so they wont take me thats why im asking on here

It really does not sound like any kind of skin cancer, but the only way to be certain would be to have it checked by a doctor. Those tiny red spots sound like what most people get sooner or later; if they are not growing, if they are round, and if they are not "raw", it is fairly certain they are not cancerous.

i doubt it i used to go on sunbeds and i came out in them but if it worrys you see your dr also itchy moles and black moles need to be checked out dont worry they grow on you all the time and it could be something else like another mole growing
