I used to run track in high school and I was in great shape! I'm 22 now and I think I gained about 20 pounds in the 4 years of college. I'm trying to lose it again but whenever I try eating healthy and exercising daily I start to feel nauseous and my bowel movements are really messed up. I'm eating the same way I used to in high school and I was fine. whats wrong with me??? and is there another way I should be going about it?

Good for you to decide to change your life around. Your bowel movements are probably messed up because you kidneys and appendix are unhealthy because of all of the alcohol. The first step to recovery is to go on a detox diet to flush out all of the chemicals from your body. The link I put as my source has alot of info on how to start a detox diet. After you go through this process you will feel healthier and more energized so you will be able to work out and excercise to get your high school body back!

Get used to it, your body wants beer and pizza and you're giving it chicken, potatoes and salad. Start out slow and easy. Give up the junk food and hit the gym 2 - 3 days a week. Hit easy weight and cardio to get used to it. Cutting out the beer during the week is the best way to start losing weight. When you get used to it make it a little harder each week. Eat regular food, but no McDonald's ever. Cook for yourself and eat lots of vegetables. It took 4 years to gain that flab, so give it a year to take it off.

the shape you're in now didn't happen overnight and the road back won't be easy. it'll take time to get back in shape. start eating right and exercising. don't overdo at first. work your way up. change one thing at a time til your body gets used to it, then change one more thing. get checked out by your doctor to make sure you don't have a physical problem.

Lift weight, muscle is the furnace that burns fat. The more muscle the higher the metabolism. Then slowly incorporate a running or walking program. Increase your fiber intake and double your fruits and veggies
