Would you say a 40oz a day (OE800/Miller Genuine) is more damaging health wise than a few bottles of say Bud?

Also I don't think I have a problem drinking this amount, I dont get drunk and I dont "depend" on it - I just enjoy it. People think I have a problem but they also admit they dont think my behavior is any different. What 's your views...?

I think 40oz of beer of any type would be close to equally damaging to your health.

Something to consider, that 40 is giving you an extra 500+ calories each day. Unless you reduce your food consumption by an equal amount, you could gain a pound every week. (500 Cal * 7 days = 3500 Cal = 1 pound of fat)

your baby will tell you how much they want to drink. they don't know what the concept of snacking or eating when they aren't hungry like us adults. although you might think 40oz is excessive, there can be a chance that your baby is going through a growth spurt. my son had his around two months as well, when he was drinking a whole 4oz bottle in one feeding when his average was an ounce and a half. he later stopped eating that much and everything went normal. give your son about a week and if nothing has change, then consult your doctor.

Drink your beer and enjoy life......some people worry excessively (not you but quite possibly a few above my answer). The only suggestion I'd have is: Drink three beers instead of a 40oz.....better chance of keeping the rest of it cold!!! :~P

Well as a nutritionist I can tell you that alcohol is only bad for you in excessive amounts.. That is when you will start to dehydrate and loose essential nutients..
As for what kind of beer to drink alcohol is the same whether in a 40 oz. bottle or a 8 oz. can..
And you only have a problem if you think you do!!

The only problem I see is that you're drinking Miller Genuine Draft and OE800. Why not try a decent beer instead?

personally I think that is a bit too much. Beer is unhealthy no matter how you look at it, and since you don't rely on it, why not do your body and favor and have 1 or 2 cans as supposed to 40oz. Or save the drinking for the weekends :)

I drink 4 12 oz. beers a day. It doesnt affect my life any, and I enjoy it also. I never drive after drinking. As long as it doesnt bother your wife, you should be just fine.

I think it is the same as well as drinking a few beers, just a different container.

I don't know man, personally, I used to do a lot of drinking but I never drank every day...I used to like to give my liver a break every other day...If you want to drink alcohol on a daily basis, try having a glass or two of red wine...at least it's good for your body...
