Hey, guys fart in public all the time! Are you insinuating that the lack of a Y chromosome makes one unqualified to fart? The nerve! ;)
Females have the same digestive system as males. And, yes, we fart. Sometimes in public (although the sneakier ones manage to pin the blame on someone else, usually a man. Heh-heh...suckers...) but mostly in private. You know, because of that old social double standard that females aren't supposed to have bodily functions below the waist.

Why are we slobs if we do it but if guys do it its funny? Yes I have farted in public before, but I do try to do it away from people so that no one else is subjected to it. I have a serious stomach condition that at times causes extreme gas sometimes its not an option for me not to fart in public.

its a natural body function....whats wrong with not taking yourself so seriously? you need to laugh more. Its not like men/everyone doesnt know you fart......whether you choose to burp outloud or fart with noise, its a natural body function. Choose wisely where to let down your guard, i agree, but if you are with your friends you should feel comfortable enough to be yourself (the good and the bad).

I have discovered a way to fart in public, but let it out slowly so no one hears. So it is kind of like I never farted at all.

lol i would feel embarrased but hey if they laugh its not always bad unless they do it on purpose but at least they are comfortable with it! i dont care when people do it on accident its people who do it on purpose in public that bother me!!

i did it in gym class one time when i was doing sit ups with someone holding my feet down. so yea i was pretty embrassed but she was a friend so we ended up laughing about it
