HELLO,
WHETHER OR NOT INVISALIGN CAN FIX YOUR OVERBITE OR NOT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF OVERBITE YOU HAVE.
SOME TYPES CAN EASILY BE FIXED, BUT OTHER TYPES NEED JAW SURGERY AND TRADITIONAL BRACES.
AN ORTHODONTIST CAN BEST BE QUALIFIED TO EXAMINE YOU AND TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR CASE.

You orthodontist would have to answer if your overbite can be corrected with Invisaligns, but as far as how do they work, they are pretty easy once you get used to them. They take impressions of your teeth, and then about a month later your trays come. Your given two cases, a red one and a blue one. The blue one you carry with you, so that when you eat you can put them in that case, the red case I'll get to in a second. The top tray pops right over your teeth, and you don't need anything added to keep them in. The bottom tray comes with slots...and so on two of your bottom teeth they use some sealant and make these little tabs on your bottom teeth for the bottom tray to fasten to. In my case, my dentist did a little cosmetic dentistry as well, which basically means he drilled about 4mm of certain teeth to make room for the movement, but I have a LOT of crowding! When they first put the invisalign in, it is REALLY tight, and you may lisp for a while until you get used to them. The only thing you can eat or drink with the invisaligns in is water, anything else you have to take them out and put them in your tray, and then after your done you must floss and brush your teeth and put the invisaligns back in. Its annoying the first couple of days, mainly because your gums are sore from the movement, and it hurts a bit to pull them out and put them in. The red tray is for the previous tray. When you see your dentist, he puts the first tray in your mouth, and he gives you the tray that you will exchange the first one with in two weeks. When you first two weeks is up, you take the first tray out and clean it, and put it inside the red tray, and they say to store in your refrigerator. The second tray of course goes in your mouth. The purpose of the red tray is just in case you lose or break a tray, you begin using the previous tray while your dentist orders another one. I don't know if it's just because I was used to it, but I was no where near as sore with the second tray as I was the first. Taking the tray in and out was tough at first, but now I'm an old pro. I highly recomend invisaligns, because I've been told my teeth needed like 4 removed, and I would be in braces for 2 years. With invisaligns, I will be done in 6mos...Hope this helps!

I think it can, I had an overbite and my ortho wanted to put thoes on me but they were too expensive so i just got brases instead.. They are like these plastic moldes that go over your teath and over time you switch them to ones that closer fit your teeth as they shift.

invislign is like a clear retainer that goes over your teeth. you get a new one every couple of weeks because of the change your teeth makes so they are to fit them... they should be able to fix overbites easily
