Powdered or icing sugar.

To make your own:

take four parts sugar and one part arrowroot starch (or corn starch) and put in a blender. Whiz in a blender untl blended. Remove the lid CAREFULLY and put into a container.

It is powdered sugar which is not the same as regular table sugar. Powdered sugar has cornstarch in it to keep it from clumping. Never use it to cook with in place of regular sugar, you will have tons of problems.

Its also called powdered sugar. Its ground more finely and has cornstarch added. Its good for sprinkling on top of things, adding to whipped cream, or making icing.
