We like to make asparagus on the grill with olive oil, and garlic chunks with meat. We also like to cook sliced mushrooms on the stove marinated with Italian dressing, it's the best.

The only thing that I use cube stead for is chicken fried steak. You should try it, it's delish.
Pound your cube steak even more then dip it in flour that you have seasoned. I generally like seasoned salt with extra pepper. Then dip in egg and redip in the flour mixture. Fry in about 1/4" of oil. Then top with white gravy. Put 3 tbsp. of both butter and flour in a frying pan and let them cook for about 2 minutes. Then add 1/4 c. of chicken stock, salt and pepper. Let this simmer until it becomes as thick as pudding. Then add some cream to it and let it warm up. Don't let it boil! On the side serve mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Key with the mashed potatoes - heat whatever milk or cream you are going to use in the potatoes. It will shock you how much better they taste.
It's not a healthy meal by any chance, but my family loves it and I make it at least 2 times a year.

this is easy to make and good to eat with cubed steak.
Sauteed Garlic Asparagus
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 bunch fresh asparagus
3 cloves garlic, chopped
DIRECTIONS
Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and asparagus spears; cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until asparagus is tender. If you like your asparagus well done, reduce heat and cook an additional 10 minutes.
Yummy Pesto Mashed Potatoes
INGREDIENTS
4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup milk, or as needed
1 tablespoon basil pesto
DIRECTIONS
Place the potatoes into a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, and cook until tender; about 10 minutes. Drain, and mash with butter and milk to your desired consistency. Mix in pesto, and serve.

Scalloped potatoes, green beans with sauteed mushrooms mixed in.
I'm weird, so I usually replace veggie sides with a tiny little bit of angel hair pasta.
Sometimes it depends on themes too...
Asian= rice or Sushi; Mexican= beans or tortillas; ect.
I think cube steak is versatile in the meal department and yummy!
Also try some fried banana as an after dinner treat.
If you're feeling a little adventurous, try some middle eastern pastries.
Sorry, I'm going off on a yummy tangent, but if you need help finishing your steak, I'm here for you. lol!

I love cubed steak! I season mine and then dust it with a little flour and pan fry it in olive oil. What I usually like with mine is mashed potatos and fresh green beans or peas. Sometimes I'll make a little gravey from the pan drippings to go on the meat and potatoes. Yum!

Mashed potatoes, black pepper cream gravy (make enough gravy to put a bit on each steak), fresh or frozen peas, garden salad.
