I have seen him out throughout the years and he always tried talking to me but I blew him off for I was always stuck on my x.Well i saw him out a couple weeks ago and he looked adorable(and im over my x)he seemed into me still but i ended up getting a little buzzed and found him on myspace the next day and sent him a message apologizing,he did not respond,so the next morning I sent another message saying'your suppose to accept my apology'he responded with'im pacing myself'and a smily face.a couple days went by and i sent him a message asking him to add me to his friends list,he did.a week went by and i send him a message about how i know a friend of his and how i dont like his friend, well no response,i take it there is no interest on his part? what did he mean with'pacing myself'?

Well, it may be that he's still interested but he's seen a few things lately that make him want to move slow and see more of what you're about.
1st - you probably hurt his ego a bit when u were still stuck on your ex but I'm sure he wasn't holding that against you too much since he at least saw your ability to be loyal.
2nd -he saw you buzzed and maybe that was a bit of a turn off OR maybe he just didn't want to take advantage of you in your buzzed state.
3rd - you dissed his friend. That's a tough one sometimes. Guys care about whether you like their friends or not and if you don't it might make him think twice.

Overall, I think you have a shot. He's probably still interested so just relax. I think you should tell him you like him and see what he says. Good luck.

it seems like you're doing all the work. maybe you should give him space to breathe a little, and then let him seek you out. he obviously knows now that you're a bit interested cause you're the one who keeps intiating contact. let him pursue you. don't give him the luxury of having to "pace himself". it's obvious that he's taking his time because he can see that you're making all the moves.

good luck
