WHAT REALLY IS SEGREGATION??
i have posted many questions in the past few days about religion. im a christian, but im trying to see how other religions think. I dont think someone should be shunned or treated differently becasue their not a christian
What this Question is about, is what All people && ALL religions think about segregation.
MANY people post questions with the title "non-christians only" or "Athiests only!!" On the questions i put Non Christians only, everything was fine. People only answerd the question i had asked. THEN, the very first time i posted a question with the title "christians ONLY" i got many posts asking why i was segregating. One person said
"I'm not Christian, and that was highly rude of you to post a question on a public forum and ask only a select few. However, I forgive you...that's what Jesus would do, right?"
All i want to know is do you think thats right??
ANYONE CAN ASNWER THIS..but no matter what religion you are, do YOU think thats right?

i think many people are taking this the wrong way. this IS NOT AT ALL may way of saying all non christians are evil for posting this stuff, cause i know there are some christians that will do the same. this is the EXACT reason i said no matter what religion you are do you think its right or wrong.
If one athiest said something mean to me, that doesnt mean i hate all athiests now, so dont think im saying all non christians are evil.
i simply just want your opinion!!

I don't see anything wrong with asking that only certain groups respond to the question that a person poses. It's done all the time in other venues, i.e., "Girls only please.." etc...

Why don't you do like some others I have seen.
Post your question with "Serious answers only."
Or better yet, tag your question with this request inside.

You might also consider something like: "I need some serious answers from fellow Christians." I will consider answers from anybody who can relate to my question. The best and worst are here for the big two points!!!

God can and does speak through a persons worst enemy. You can find this in Scripture without looking real hard. You gotta stay humble; because God can put a word for you in the mouth of any enemy, an atheist, or somebody from another religion. Think about it.

Meek, humble and free is the key. God hides in human hope and simplicity.

You can ask that a certain question be directed towards a certain group, but people will always disregard it and answer anyway.

Sometimes it gets annoying if a serious doctrinal question is directed at Christians but it gets countless answers of "it doesn't matter, there is no God." Yeah no kidding buddy, that's why the question wasn't directed at you.

Same goes for the atheists. I'm sure they don't appreciate their sincere questions being answered with "You're going to hell if you don't repent."

I answer questions directed towards other groups all the time. If I think I have something to contribute to the discussion, I'll speak up. Just try and stop me. :)

You have a right to state that you would prefer answers from Christians only, but it's a public forum and everyone can read that question. All who read it have the right to reply. If you don't want the other answers, don't read them. But if your question to Christians only is about atheist or other religions, we have a right to reply. You might think we are rude intruding, but that's life on a public board. I personally do not insult, but I will reply if I feel it's warranted.

atheist

The Atheist Bible, it could be said, has but one word: "THINK." - Emmett Fields

I don't think it really matters that much to segregate it. I don't believe in segregation over anything. I don't really care enough to cast people out over their religion. It just get's to the point for some though that if they say:
"Do you think God really forgives us of our sins,"
then your avid athiest says:
"What God?",
and then the athiest asks a questions like:
"do we turn into ghosts when we die"
and then they get a 'come to Jesus' answer like:
"Well if you weren't lost and you knew Jesus then you would know you would not be a ghost."

I think to avoid conflict people say from the get go, please don't waste your time if you are going to try to convert me or challenge me. " *belief here* Only"

I think Jesus would abandon Yahoo Answers altogether and then become a Muslim, and just to be really far out in the way that only a deity can, would go around wearing a multi-colored burka with a flashing button on it that said 'kiss me quick'

If you are only interested in the opinions of Christians on a certain subject (because you are taking a poll or something), or if you only want Buddhists, Muslim, Jews, etc., I don't see how that is discrimination.

Some people seem to be too touchy and have a thin skin.

And those "some people" almost always seem to be atheists (check out my question below):

I think its wrong that ppl put "non-christians only" or christian this or muslim that, its stupid. I very accepting of all religions. Im catholic and my gf is hindu. Hell i make fun of all religions. I spare none, not even my own.

Of course it isnt right - but I highly doubt that not one single non-atheist replied to your questions that was directed at atheists only. Im virtually CERTAIN that believers also responded to that question, and, instead of claiming that it was rude for you to ask a question only to Atheists, instead just bagged on atheists.

Nice try attempting to make us look evil.
