I have a lump on the top of my foot that comes and goes when I'm stressed. It causes my foot to swell at different times. I'm thinking its a cyst.

Nope, not a true cyst, it may be a foriegn body or a psuedocyst from a few different reasons. You can have cysts anywhere on your body but yours doesn't sound like one. Go get it checked out to be sure no one on here can tell you definativly without seeing it.

Yes It could be a cyst or a war, but only a qualified pediotrist can determine which. I have had both. A wart can spread. If you can push on it and the fluid/swelling goes down, probably a cyst. Either way bet to check it out and get rid of it. Easy to do with freezing.

I have had 2 lumps that come and go(shrink down) on my foot now for about a year and a half. I had an x-ray done and an ultrasound. The results came back to me that they were Ganglions. He gave me the option to go to a foot specialist and get them removed. I have opted out just for now. I find that snug shoes that press/friction in that area, or when my feet are swollen it bothers me more. I ice my foot when it aches, but the doctors said that applying heat can possibly help it to shrink( I don't like it !).
You can get cysts on your feet so you should have it thoroughly checked out! It might turn out to be a Ganglion!
