I don't believe that people are born homosexual. Some people have less gender specific hormone and therefore may feel attracted to the same sex but with hormone treatment would not "feel" they were homosexual. This is true for both males and females. It is when they choose to follow those desires that they come to believe they are homosexual. Others, at a very young age, now that being homosexual is acceptable, think they'll try it out. Then they find they were not homosexual at all and go on to become attracted to the opposite sex. (I know a male person this happened to) In the case of identical twins, I think it's possible that one did not get as much gender specific hormone, as she entered puberty, as the other one did. But if she developed normally, with a little medical help she will feel perfectly normal. Of course she may have chosen to be homosexual because of a certain person she is attracted to. When that attraction wears off she may become "normal" again.

Homosexuality among men is something that happens in the early fetal development of the brain, whether it is genetic or environmental. Nothing short of triggering the development of the female sexual response system could make a man seem attractive to anyone.
Lesbianism, on the other hand, is simply a logical choice made by those women who can overcome their genetic shackles and choose attractive partners, rather than men.

Actually, I know identical twins with that same circumstance. They are both very bright, started college at 16 years old. Both hold master's degrees. I point this out to show you that they are identical in more then looks.
One is a lesbian and one is straight. To me, this just supports the idea that homosexuality is not genetic.

It could mean any number of things, not the least of which is that one sister may not be speaking truthfully about her sexuality. You never know!

It could mean one of two things:
1 - although they were "identical", the point in development where someone develops sexual orientation had different results.
2 - one of them is lying about her sexual orientation, either to herself or to the world. NOTE: I did not say which one, I don't know these women.

One chose to be gay and the other chose not to be. The same way one would choose to drive a toyota and the other a honda
