For the past 5 days my 1 yr old has been throwing up, just once, at night, wakes up and is ready to go, happy mood, no fever. This morning she woke up getting sick, which was the last straw for me to find some kind of answer, since the DR, says it's just a bug. She got sick, and after that she was in bright moods. This is troubling and very much puzzling she has plenty of fluids, pedialite, water, and juices. Anyone else been in a similar situation and could you possibly help me out? And yes she eats fine. Her appetite is healthy.

I had that same problem when my daughter was little. It ended up being a bad case of indegestion, stomach acid goes up a little, and they puke it up. try finding a med for acid reflux/indegestion/ sour stomach. I use pepto's kids tablets but im not sure on his weight or if hes old enough for them. Mylicon is a good one for babies, if it works. If that doesn't help maybe its just a mild bug thats makin her puke without makin her feel yucky.

Are you laying her down RIGHT immediately after feeding her? That could be the cause. Whatever you're feeding her might not be making it all the way into her stomach, and just sits there and as soon as she's awake or sitting, up it comes. Or, if she hasn't burped enough, anything that's on the air bubble is going to come up when she burps. Try keeping her upright (sitting is okay) for at least 30 minutes after she feeds.

If that doesn't apply, it's worth getting a second opinion. It *could* be a minor bug, but then I would think something else would show up, but again, not always. Some bugs are funky that way.

I really dont know what it could be but it doesn't really sound like a bug since she seem fine when she is not throwing up. I would ask you doctor to run test on her if the problem continues for much longer. I know anytime my children have a bug they dint seem themselves at all until it is over they usually wont eat much dint want to play and sleep a lot.

Take her to another doctor. See what he/she says.
