I see no reason to do so. Please tell me why should I believe in God when its so easy to see how the Idea of God is most likely false.

I have a book that talks about God. It has a lot of geographical errors, logical inconsistencies, moral atrocities, and other problems. But it's been reprinted a lot of times, so it must be true. Therefore God exists.

Nobody can "Convince" you, it is a choice that you and you alone will have to make. The evidence is out there for the existance of God and eveloution. It is up to you to look at the evidence and make a logical conclusion. I personaly believe in the God of the Bible becasue of the Historical and the Scientific evidence. Check out my "360" site for some of the Scientific inormation. I could also ask you the same question, "Convince me to believe in Evolution" or what ever you believe the beinging of everything is. You say that its "easy" to see that God dosen't exist. How? You also say that God "is most likley false". So if there is even a slight chance, I would hope that you are making an informed decission, because the concequences could mean alot to you in your life after death.

Yes, you can be convinced to believe in God, but that can be done when you have fortune to meet a pure devotee of God.
The idea of God is not false, but it look like to you, because you some fear to believe in Him.

Noone can convince you if you yourself are not interested in looking for the truth, as I am a muslim I can only tell you, that how do I believe that there is God. My religion Islam does not require blind faith, rather it reasons and answers our questions. It tells us that if the Quran was not from God there would have been many mistakes in it. It challenges its reader to pinpoint one single mistake in it if he believes it's not from God. The fact is that there are more than 1000 scientific facts in the Quran of which not even 0.01% have been proven wrong by modern established science. I think the proof this book contains regarding the quran is sufficient for any person with a scientific and logical approach.

The existence of God is something that you feel within yourself and not something that others can convince you of. Perhaps if just being here is not enough for you, then you had not had an enlightening experience that made you a believer. Be patient my friend and you will have it...let's just hope it is not too late! Good Luck.

If you are waiting on a materialistic explanation, then you are wasting your time.A person that demands a materialistic explanation(I'm assuming that's what you're after) refuses to cross the line over to belief without seeing.Until you decide in your heart and in your mind to do this then it will be futile to try to persuade you to do so.All of the apostles witnessed every single miracle Jesus performed. They even witnessed him resurrecting Lazarus, but it wasn't until he defeated death by resurrecting in the flesh, and witnessing him ascend into Heaven that they believed.

It is impossible for one human to convince another to believe in God...God chooses us. Other people can only plant a seed of belief.
Likewise, it is impossible for those of us that know God to be convinced that He does not exist. When you know...you really know!

Convince me to convince you first. But then I don't see a reason myself.

Do it for the money, it's the reason that religion started in the first place. Start a church with your own rules that contradict everything illogical in the bible. Make sure to offer free beer and pizza every sunday. Don't forget big screen TVs for sports.

If that doesn't float your boat, create your own god. But you can't go wrong with big screen TVs and sports on sundays (or saturdays for us Canadians) ... expecially if you're getting free money.

"believing in God" will mean nothing to you unless you have had a personal experience with God. I can quote scriptures for you from now until the end of time, but if you have had no personal experience to relate to these scriptures, it is likely that you will continue to not believe.

Imagine falling over board in the middle of the ocean and seeing a shark circling you, if you had faith in god you'd pray for a rescue before it got brave enough to bite you!
With out some belief you may as well drown yourself to avoid gettin eatin alive!
