I'm 22yrs of age, and in training to be an Evangelist. Every sunday I go to church my mom hits me because she feels that I don't treat her right, even tho I've always respected her. I had a dream that I got tired of her hitting me and I made it known to everyone. My Pastor told me to be quite but my Elderess felt sympathy for me. I leaned on her and cried throughout the whole dream, and I felt the same pain that I was feeling when I woke up. I don't know why my mom feels that way about me bc I've always tried to help her in anyway I can. Some days seems like my best ain't good enough. I live on my own and pay my own bils, so I don't think that she should be hitting me reguardless of who she is. Some one plz tell me something, it's much appreciated and much needed. lil, you got to remember that if you are going to be used by God, then the devil will use even family members to attack you. If your mom is hitting you then it if not of God, but the devil. People who walked in the Spirit of God do not act that way. Your dream is about you getting offended and voicing your offense to everyone. At the same time you are looking for someone who you can open up to about the situation. I want to be very honest with you as a pastor. The only real way you can deal with this situation is develop a deeper love walk towards your mother. If she hits you again, tell her you love her. It may not feel good at first, but God may be working out something in your life to deepen your love and mercy. If you will deepen your love and mercy towards someone who does not treat you well, then it will move the favor of God in your life. If you are offended by people in your family that mistreat you, what will happen if God puts you before thousands who don't know you and hate you? It will hinder the anointing of God on your life. Use this opportunity to grow by faith. Remember as a believer in Christ you have the authority to change the situation in your household by faith. Okay sister, take care and God bless you.

Your question is a little fuzzy. I am not sure which part is dream and which part is real! If your mom is REALLY hitting you, then the dream is obviously due to stress from that physical punishment. It sounds like your mom is trying to keep you from going to church. Is this true? You need to talk to someone about it and, perhaps, you could go to a pastor of a related church who does NOT know your mom! You fear that your Pastor won't support you in this, and may even support your mother punishing you!
Your mom could be fearful of you getting closer to God! It is "hitting too close to home" for her. There is something she is hiding, something more than hitting you! But, again, I am not sure which part you are dreaming. It sounds as if you are on a path that will bring you closer to God. This ENTIRE situation might be training for your future.
However you handle it, you must do it with a lot of prayer, probably with a least some fasting, and a lot of bible reading. Ask God to show you in His "rule book" where he covers such things or where He has an answer for you!

Dreams are very personal, and I'm always hesitant to analyze someone else's dream because we are our own best dream interpreters, but this one spoke to me and I wanted to respond.
I am 23; my parents used to hit me too, until I moved out. They don't do it anymore, but they do still yell at me a lot, but the difference is now I have my own place to escape to when I don't want to be there anymore.
Nobody should be allowed to harm anyone else. Not even a mother should be allowed to hit her children... and especially now when they are adults! Your dream sounds like you really want to tell someone about what she does so that maybe that will get her to stop.
The fact that you leaned on your Elderess and felt comfortable crying with her maybe represents how you would like to be comforted about your current situation with your mother hitting you - to have someone know about it and just comfort you.
If your mother is hitting you, it is not anything to do with what you do or do not do. Even if you were the worst person in the world she still would not have the right to harm you. It sounds like you care about your mother a lot though, and there is most likely some part inside of her that is not healed or too angry at the world, that causes her to hurt her child. In any case, it is not right.
Maybe your dream is trying to tell you that you should let someone know about it, probably at your church, and find someone at the church who will support you through it and maybe help you talk to your mother and tell her to stop what she's doing, and maybe get therapy for it, or get counseling from someone at your church.

You may be feeling guilty about things you want to do in life. You probably are doing it against her will. Projecting her hitting you show signs of regret, anger and guilt.
Projecting yourself being told to be quiet by your pastor shows symbol of low confidence and guilt conscience. Perhaps, in life you have to work out with your mom somehow to make her understand your goal in life.

The answer is in your hands ,no one can decide for you.You are looking for an alibi and help.Your Mum should not hit you, only you can stop her.Next time she attempts this say NO Stop and walk away.Ask why she does this ,I think she is unhappy but she is not helping the situation by being abusive.The Elderess is your alibi in the dream.She is on your side.

I think its pretty clear that you don't want her hitting you anymore- and you're right. If you're emancipated (moved out) than she has NO RIGHT to hit you at all anymore .
Have you confronted her on this? I would suggest telling her that she has no right to do that. In fact, explain to her that she could even face charges of battery if you chose to file charges against her (and you can).
I'd also suggest avoiding her until she learns to accept you as an adult.
I don't think it would hurt to speak to your minister about this as well. He might be able to give you some insight.
