I am 14 and she is 22. I know this sound like pedophilia, but we both are shy people and she lives across the world from me. And any advice on if we do go out on when to start like doing stuff and making moves on our future?

For some reason I don't know why people think it's ok for older woman to be with young men, or in your case a teenager. And you say that you are both shy. Can you really meet the needs of someone who is 22? I am not saying that you can't but are just starting to come into your own, and she is in the adult dating scene. Now I have always dated older woman. Even when I was 16 I would date woman 19 years old, even then it was hard at times. But 22 is way different. And have you seen this person? Chances are if you have not seen a picture of this woman, then it could just as well be a 45 year old man. So be careful. But really I would look for love a little closer to home. Like at school. And trust me there are plenty of shy girls who are your age. Hope this helps.

This is a bad idea for a number of reasons. One you are still very young. Two it would be completely illegal if any kind of sexual relationship were to develope. And three these long distance international relationships are not a good idea even when everything else is right. You can never fully trust the intentions of someone you've never met and in this case meeting would be a very bad idea. You need to let this one go. This woman is trying to manipulate you. The only question is what is she trying to get? People who are trying to con you always try to make you feel guilty about not trusting them. It is one of the surest ways to tell you are being lied to. Some lessons are hard to learn but this is one lesson you do not want to learn the hard way. Please be safe and don't see this woman.

I believe your relationship would be illegal just about anywhere. You are far too young to be with a 22 year old, you have a lot of life ahead of you and a lot of growing up to still experience. How about focus on being a kid/teenager instead of trying to plan a future with someone who is likely in a far different place in her life? This is not a relationship that is likely to go anywhere. Sorry!

Its possible...but only when the younger is past the age of 18. Otherwise, I think its far too inappropriate. What on earth would she have in common with a 14 year old? You still have so much growing up to do, things to learn etc. I would be very suspicious of her. She might be, well probably is COO-KOO.

It is not the age gap that worries me it is how old you are right now and how old she is. If you and her really do like eachother, I would highly recommend waiting until you are older than what you are now. You are still a baby and she is in her 20's. Other than the fact that you are shy, you probably have nothing more in common.

She lives accross the world from you? Dude if you cant see her there aint going to be no relationship. You need to find a girl closer to home and probably closer to your own age. There is a six year difference between my and my girl so I dont think that it is too bad but you need someone closer and you might waste your time on someone youll never see.

Don't do anything until you get to know her in person. Beleive me, many of these girls are not what they seem
As for the age...there is absolutely nothing illegal about it so long as there are no sexual relations

she's only using you kid, to get in to USA...you're still young and you'll find someone you'll really like and eventually love in the future...
