Most of the world is south of China. Being on that side no doubt facilitates communications. I imagine it's also sunnier, and with more forest cover. And perhaps there's an element of feng shui, it being China.

It's cooler< easy access. If your think of some kind of a safety percausion.The little birds fly up down sidways feet off the ground.& can land anywhere.Making a nest in any hole.
