I've served 9 years in the navy so far...Submarines only...and ill tell you this - ITS NO JOKE OUT THERE! The fact that you would take someone's devoted job and slander it the way you have just brings shame to yourself and your upbringing! If you were to go out on a Tiger Cruse (guest rider) for an overnight run with a Submarine crew you would truly see how off the bullseye you are here. Would you say the same for a construction worker at the top of there newly build hospital for cancer children...probably not! Were out there defending your freedom, making sure that you have that comfort that comes with sitting behind your computer screen free to drag any topic through the mud like you have here and relish in your own low self worth!!! I and many others before and after me will dedicate our lives to Freedom and Democracy around the world living up to the Honor, Courage and Commitment that you obviously lack! I am more saddened for you than i am disappointed! Ignorance is no excuse! Now go thank a Vet for the time they've done!
**little side note**to the air force guy that was on your side...For Shame!!! Were all one service...a service of Freedom, to agree with this guy/girl is beneth you...were all in this together! I support all military branches and you should too...you know better!

I object to the tone of your message, sir!
I have it on the best authority that the US Navy is no longer a haven for cannibalism! It is well known that they have the problem relatively under control, and that it is now the RAF that has the worst of it.
After all, what do you think the Argyles ate in Aden? Arabs?
Yours, etcetera.

Now I spent 15 years as an ASW crewman / officer, and I love to give the bubble-heads good natured insults, but your generalization is just-plain-out-of-line !!
Stick to good jokes like "A submarine goes to sea with 120 sailors, and comes back with 59 couples... the CO and XO just had a fight and broke up."
Since you have the signed copy of the Village People album, I'm guessing you're a closet-queen who wasn't able to get into the Silent Service and engage in your little fantasies !

If you had ever been near to a submarine you would never ask such a stupid, inane, objectionable, ridiculous, uncalled for, question. I have been on board many submarines in my profession as an engineer (never at sea) and anyone who earns their living by operating one deserves more respect than any freak who could dream up a question like yours. Submariners put their lives at risk every day so that you have the freedoms to express yourself in the mindless, abusive manner that you think is "funny".

SOmehow I doubt that those sailors are doing anything worse then a group of guys in a locker room do. Not being a guy I can only assume that.

No. Have you ever been in a submarine? It's not a play ground, frat house or anything of the kind. These men and woman have volunteered to protect your rights, and even your life...a little respect would be nice.

Shall I direct you to the nearest recruiting office? And for the other genius who answered we haven't allowed liquor on our navy ships in quite a few years. Hmmm.
