Jesus said that hell was real. Jesus spoke about hell more often that He spoke about heaven. And if Jesus, as the perfect Son of Man, said that it is real, then it must be. If you are going to discard Jesus’ teachings about hell, then you must also discard His teachings about everything else

Those who are living in paradise cannot see and are not aware of those who are being tormented. This only makes sense as it would give no one pleasure to see anyone tormented for all eternity.
So Paradise is one with GOD..Hell is Seperation from GOD

Where do you want to live for eternity?

Hell and paradise are the same place. Jesus and the thief both went to paradise which is another word for hell and purgatory. Hell is not the eternal torment, that would be the Lake of Fire. Remember Jesus also went to paradise/hell/purgatory for 3 days after He was crucified

Luke 16: 19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 23: 43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

When Jesus was on the cross, one thief became a believer and asked Jesus to remember him. Jesus told him, this day you will be with me in paradise.

When Jesus died, he decended into the lower part of earth known as death and hell. In this place there was to areas. The lower part where all the unrighteous dead are reserved until the day of judgement.

And the upper part, better known as the bosom of Abraham where all the righteous dead were being held captive. Although God considered many righteous, they were still being held prisoners under the yoke of original sin.

So when Jesus went to this place after his death, the thief on the cross went there as well after he died. He could have went to the place of fire and torment where the unrighteous went, but because of his faith in his dying moments, he went to paradise with Jesus.

So what is paradise? It would be considered being with Jesus, where ever he may be. For he is the resurrection of the dead.

This place known as the bosom of Abraham is no longer needed, because Jesus set the captives free by living a life without sin and being put to death, thus defeating death. He alone was worthy of resurrection. And all who believe in him, even though we die in the flesh, our souls go to be with Jesus in heaven. Awaiting the day of resurrection when the soul is restored into the resurrected body that never dies.

I can reject Hell and still not discard everything else. I don't believe the Bible to be that accurate about what Jesus taught. It was written a few decades (the gospels, anyway) after the Crucifixion.

I do not believe Jesus ever claimed to be anything beyond a moral teacher. Everything else was put into his mouth by the gospel writers, who were not divinely inspired.

I think Crimson I have answered this question before.
Well to tell you again...Definitely my answer would be Heaven, but then above that I want to be with my Lord wherever He may be...
There is a Sufi Poem in our part of the world, It says..

.."Though Heaven I accept but O Lord,
Thou who writes fate of all, Please send me to the place where Thou Art."

I have been thinking about this subject a lot. I read these stories of people who have gotten a 'tour' of both and posted a question to Christians, which I still need more answers

Paradise is in Nevada. It is called the Las Vegas strip. Las Vegas is actually the north end of the strip.

Hell is in Michigan. It is on the map.

Hell because in my eyes god is nothing more than a spoiled brat that thinks he has the right to tell people how to live.
