Some friends of mine work odd jobs on people's farms and what not while floating around to different countries and staying with different families.
I really want to travel or do missionary work, I've even applied to the peace corps but I have no money to do this on my own. I've considered hostels also but don't know how to go about all this.
I can't get a hold of my friends to ask how they are doing this. How can I get involved in something like this?
I'm basically looking to quit my job and do odd things for people in exchange for room and board all over the world.

I saw it on the news the other day.. It's a website/organization where people go to strangers homes and stay on their sofa while they are traveling it's free.. I wish I could remember where I saw it ! It sounded interesting try Foxnews.com maybe it was there.. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the group I think it was sofavacation?
