I've been lifting since I was 15, now I'm 21, but I have only been doing it consistently for about 2 years now.. I am deffinitely way bigger than I was 2 years ago, but I want to look huge, so I figure 25 lbs of more muscle will do it. Any bodybuilders know how long it will take me to accomplish such a thing?

well i'm not a bodybuilder but i also was like you.
Packing on mass like that will take you a good while .... it'll probally be a couple months. i know i gained 15lbs in 2 months but i had to hit it hard. the best thing you can do is EAT EAT EAT !!!! the more you eat the bigger you get...now make sure the foods are healthy though not fattning. ya know brown rice not white ...same w/ bread ...and so on. anyway get a good weight gainer also and that helps out the best dude litterally. so yea it'll take you a couuple months if you want it to be muscle not fat ...after all 25lbs is a lot man.
be patient and it'll come it just takes time
good luck

there is no way to determine the rate that anyone will gain muscle mass at, there are just far too many variables in the equation.

the diet determines the rate of fat loss (or increase) and the amount of muscle mass that a person has. exercise only provides the necessary stimulus to the muscles and to the central nervous system. to maximize muscle growth first you need to use progressive resistance which mains using constantly greater and greater training loads while keeping proper form. any properly designed resistance training program should be based on compound exercises. those should be supplemented with isolation exercises that utilizes dumbbells and machines that use cables and levers. compound exercises utilize 2 joints in the movement while isolation exercises utilize 1. compound exercises allow a greater load to be used which is why they are optimum for increasing strength and/or muscle mass (depending on the diet).

in terms of bodybuilding the diet is about 80% of the equation with training and supplementation being the remaining 20%. going to the gym several times a week for 1.5 hours is the easy part, eating 5-7 meals daily for years on end is not. you need to eat every 3 hours and right up until going to sleep. a blended protein shake is optimum for use right before bed (30 min prior) as 60% of muscle growth occurs during sleep but only if there are sufficient nutrients available.

shot for something close to 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fats. counting calories makes gaining muscle mass and losing body fat very easy when you consume the right foods. the majority of your foods should be from whole food sources.
