Callas are beautiful flowers ... they might be difficult to find in wine (at least in large quantities) but you can use them as accents with another flower, like roses. Champagne is also another color that is difficult to match when it comes to flowers, so you might want to use champagne ribbon instead of trying to find champagne flowers.

I must admit I've never cared much for cala lillies myself, but they are not only popular for weddings now, they're very nearly as expected as roses at this point. If you like them, nobody is going to think they look goofy.

Really, any flower you like can be used for a wedding. If you're having a color scheme of wine and champagne, you might want to stick with flowers that are either cream colored or somewhere in the pink range. If you'd like a stronger contrast, I'd probably go with a light yellow, though you could always go for a brighter color like orange tiger lillies or gerbera daisies which come in some startlingly bright shades and are always striking.

And of course there's always the classic rose, which comes in many colors and is never incorrect.

I am getting married in October- late October, and my flowers are Calla Lillies- so I hope they are appropriate! You could do a deep maroon or champagne calla lily- that would be beautiful!

Callas might be really, really expensive that time of year but the shape and color are always appropriate for a wedding.

Personally, I would go with maroon roses and small fillers that tend toward either the maroon or champagne color. I really like monochromatic bouquets.

I would think so, calla lillies come in some pretty fall toned colors....even some that are almost marron and some golden toned ones that would look really pretty with champagne. Of course you could mix a lot of other pretty flowers with um, but calla lillies would certainly be fine...VERY expensive, but pretty!

Yes, I think calla lillies are gorgeous in all seasons. They come in a variety of colors as well, if you don't want to use the white ones. Talk to you florist about what options are available.

Those are the exact colors and flowers I am using in my wedding in 3 days. You have great taste. I have seen it set up when we did a practice run of the reception hall and it looks beautiful . Especially when we put tealight candles around the flowers. The glow of the candles really brings out the marroon and champagne.

Callas are great in fall.

Other options to add to them to give different textures that are also in season is maroon Coxcomb (looks like a velvet brain), hanging amaranthus is beutiful, Dahlias are wonderful at that time of year too.

That sounds nice.

I had an October wedding and I used roses for everything. They were fall colored. As long as you stick to some dark and light colored flowers to go with the wine dresses, you'll be fine.

That's such a pretty color scheme. I think Calla Lillies are PERFECT (I carried hot orange ones at my November wedding).
