Why not Vegas? The Bellagio is one of the most beautiful and romantic hotels I have ever seen. We had so much fun in Vegas on vacation.
Also the Venetian is extremly romantic you can even have a ride in a gondola.
We stayed at the Montelago Resort in Henderson which is right outside Vegas (10-15 min from the strip). This place is right on Lake Las Vegas and has an absolutly gorgeous wedding chapel. The whole resort is modeled after a mediterranean village and is adorable!
I would suggest checking it out before you totally discount it, especially because you can have a beautiful and romantic wedding pretty inexepnsively!! (Just stay away from Circus Circus and the Stratosphere!)
Good Luck!

Don't think of the stereotypical Vegas and think it isn't romantic or beautiful. There are some great locations, like Lake Las Vegas, that are absolutely gorgeous backdrops for a ceremony - of any size. Not to mention they have a lot of unique attractions, such as hot air balloon rides and helicopter tours over the city, that are quite romantic. You just have to stay on the strip and go elsewhere to find those unique touches.

Eloping means both of you are going to get married. You can get married pretty much anywhere if you are of legal age. Go to your local town hall and get the necessary paper work. Next find a justice of the peace in the yellow pages that will preform the ceremony and you've eloped.

Vegas has some great places to elope. There are lots of other places. I was big on the church wedding and then did some research on eloping. I was amazed at what places offer!!

Go to an island! The all inclusive resorts do gorgeous weddings. My husband and I got married at Beaches, Negril in Jamaica last August and it was amazing...we took just a few family members and our wedding party and we had a little vacation at the same time. They do just small ceremonies for couples, too ...they all have on-site wedding planners that will take care of the details so all you have to do is show up and say your vows! Good luck :)

Don't elope to save money just make a local appointment for ASAP then tell your friends and family the time and date and that you are not having a party or anything but if they want to whiteness the event they can be there. Weddings are not important but marriages are.

We got married in Vegas, and it was romantic and beautiful, so don´t count this location out. The hotels are fabulous, the fountains are awesome, and the restaurants are owned by some of the richest people in the world...and where there is wealth, there is good food.

Most resorts (Mexico, Hawaii, Bahamas, etc) include a free wedding if you stay for 7 nights. I have friends who've done this and you do your wedding and honeymoon all in one go! It's a great, inexpensive option.

well, I dont know how much of a budget your on, but if you can swing it, Sandals resorts are great for weddings. its free to marry there if you staying at the resort and they take care of everything for you. my husband and I were going to go there. and if you go in an off season (august is a good one) then its pretty cheap.
