I think gays should have the same rights to marry, adopt, etc., that straight people do.

I'm fine with gay marriage, and I actively support it.

If anyone person already legally permitted to marry was denied the opportunity, the issue of human rights would come up. While I don't necessarily know if marriage is a human right, I do know that any consenting adult who desires to marry another consenting adult who is not a direct relative is permitted to do so in the United States. This has nothing to do with child bearing considering some men and women are infertile going into marriages.

Considering what people do in their bedrooms is none of my business, I have no problem with it whatsoever.

I say ... GO FOR IT!! I'm behind it 100%

You can't help who you fall in love with ...
its a gambal wearing your heart on your sleeve, and its a miracle when you finally find the one your looking for!

Its not fair to deny someone true happiness,
Just because society does not agree!!
Who are these people that are against it and why do they get a say in who someone else wants to marry!!

Its really sad that in such modern times we still have racism, ignorance, and such deep hate towards each other.

There are soldiers dieing everyday in Iraq and Afganastan, children being shot right in our back yards everyday, and here we are worried about who is marrying who

I just wish everyday that all this HATE goes away, I look forward to the day when all of mankind can come together as one and love each other!

SO sad!!

Yes to the marriage, and no, I'm not gay. When I think of marriage I don't think of sex; I think of partnership. Gay people are people and they have a right to be happy in life just as straight people. They're not hurting anybody and they deserve to love and be loved. I just think most people get freaked out by the sex. But that's between them two and none of my business. Live and let live.

Yes, because I know a gay couple and I would be furious to hear someone talk bad about them. I love them both very much! Sometimes gays are the best people in the world! Also, I would want gays to be happy, because they are people too!

I feel that everyone has the right to married if they choose to be. I do realize that a Christian marriage totally goes against God, and religious beliefs. So I am against a same sex marriage in the church. I am not opposed of legal same sex marriage though. They should have every right to have a legal marriage, just as those straight people have that cannot get married in a church because they are not Christians.
I say to each his/her own!

I really don't find any meaning on this, cause it doesn't involve kids and family(the purpose for marriage). My personal opinion of course.
But my best friend is gay and in a 10 years relationship, so he wants this very much , he has already of course sign the contract of full rights to his mate.
I don;t really know how it feels, it sounds weird to me but maybe it isn't really.

Well. first let me say this. God is the final judge. We do understand God made man to be with woman, I know that gay people feel that they were born that way. Not so, they may have been born with a spirit of homosexuality attached to them, that got in from rape, incest, molestation or a generational curse. But just like with any evil spirit, such as drinking, smoking, you can be delivered from it and not give in to it. Gay people know that being gay is wrong, hey I've had some bi-sexual encounters, I knew this was wrong, I also had the ability to walk away from this behavior. I would never enter into a relationship with another woman, because it will not work, this is not ordained by God, He will not bless their marriage it is an abomination to Him. Now I am not gay bashing, because sin is sin, none of us are perfect. God despises all sin, no matter how big or small. He still loves all of us, gay and not gay, black of white, killers - blah, blah, blah. I am against gay marriage. it's one thing to get your rocks off, it's another thing to enter into a spiritual commitment before God, that he ordains.

I don't care. I'm straight and I'll be married someday. I don't care if gays get married. I don't mind gays as long as they know I'm not. Respect me and I'll respect you.
If they outlaw gay couples, then they can move on to keeping it out of marriage. But in reality as long as they can be a couple...etc. It is unfair to say, here's one right, but you can't take it further.
