It makes no sense. In order to be completely happy you'd have to have your mind altered so you wouldn't remember your loved ones in Hell. You can't be unhappy so that would mean you don't have free will in Heaven. But if free will is so important that God allows evil on Earth to get it, why don't you have it in Heaven?
If free will does exist in Heaven even without evil, then it's possible to have free will without evil. If that's the case, why doers God need to allow evil on Earth in order to let you have free will?

Agreed Yoda,
Listening to Christians talk about heaven makes me want to hurl. If heaven means floating around with a harp and everything is perfect all the time...I'm not interested. Sounds boring to me.

No, it doesn't....
Sure it is a kingdom of peace and serenity. That is good so far. It is filled with chosen ones who were faithful and loving here on earth, that seems fair and positive also.
Our loved ones on earth will miss us and grieve for us leaving, indeed! That is bad for us, but we cannot deprive them of the greatest gift that we can ever recieve, God's gift of eternal life! Even though I miss my mother painstakingly each day, I am happy that she is no longer in pain but instead in a place where age, pain and necessities no longer exist.
Can I really deprive someone for wanting that kind of feeling for eternity? It's all good, but you can stay here if you want...forever.

You need to understand there will be a time when all will end. There will be no more suffering. Heaven on Earth perhaps.

1 Corinthians - Chapter 2
1Cr 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Cr 2:10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Cr 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Cr 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Cr 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Cr 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
I do think the reason for evil on earth is because of the rebellion of Satan (dragon, serpent, lucifer, ect). In heaven he will not be there. Often times you find a thought will throw it self at you. some times temptation. Some times those thoughts will constantly bombard you. Those thougts are not necessarily from you but can be thrown as darts at you from the enemy. Satan and his armies are screwing with the minds of men and unless they learn self controll and discipline they will give into those thoughts. Hence evil on earth but not in heaven. Hence Hitler and his amazing ideas.

The Bible never claims Lazarus went to heaven. It claims he was raised from the dead meaning that he could still be alive.

Well to believe that Heaven is great, you first have to believe that God is great and you dont. So enjoy the things of the world instead. But dont look to them for comfort after you die.
