As a parent I still worry about my daughter she's 22 and was in the Army, some parents just will not let go and let the child grow up, yes it's hard to take a back seat on this but as kids you need to prove to us parents you can do the right thing with out us looking over your shoulder.

First how old are you? then if you are over eighteen just call to check in every so often. as time goes it will get easier for the parents to let go. I have a 20yr old and she still calls to say Hi I'm headed to my place I just go off work today was ruff. See you in a few days. She is my child and I will worry till I die but I try to give her freedom to live. So remember they love you show them how you are responsible and let them know what is going on.

You can't convince them that. I am married and have two children and my mom still worries about me! They love you and want to keep you safe, that is a parents instinct. There is nothing you can do to convince them. Just trust that they are right to have you in at a decent hour.

How old are you? Parents will ALWAYS worry about their children, no matter how old. My mom still worries about me and I have children of my own! A parents love is unlike any other love and worry goes along with it.

remember they are your parents and they want the best for you? your mother had so much pain when she had you so she will do every thing to protect you so what i'll suggest is that you start acting mature by taking responsibility for your action and stop depend on little things like your basic nessescities

I am 26 years old and my parents still worry. That will never stop. No matter how old one becomes you are still their little baby.

That's simple.
Get a job, move out, pay your own rent and groceries.
Call your parents once in a while and lie about what you've been doing.

By being a "responsible" adult.
Past experiences is what gives us trust or not.
So it's just a matter of the more you can show maturity and responsibility, the more comfortable they will be with it :)

How old are you?
If you're like 13. You can't take care of yourself, so stop trying to act like it.

you can't. As you grow older I am sure they will seem less worried, but as a mother let me tell you that we never stop worrying
